A channel that catches spam bots: anyone but staff who sends a message in it gets softbanned and logged.
The template posts a warning in a honeypot channel you pick, telling members not to send messages there. Spam bots that post in every channel fall for it. When a member without the Manage Messages permission sends a message in the honeypot channel, the bot softbans them: it bans them, which deletes their messages from the last day, and unbans them right away, so they can rejoin with a new invite.
Before the softban, the bot forwards the message to a log channel you pick and logs who was kicked, with their user ID, when their account was created and when they joined. You can change the warning in the message editor when adding the template, or later under Messages.

Get startedA ban followed right away by an unban. It kicks the member and deletes their recent messages, but they aren't banned and can join again with an invite.
Members with the Manage Messages or Administrator permission are ignored, so moderators can post there. Anyone else whose role is above the bot's, or who owns the server, can't be banned by the bot, so their message is forwarded to the log channel with a note that the bot couldn't softban them.
Ban Members, with its role above the members it should catch. In the log channel it needs to see the channel and send messages.
